A Medieval Ball was a special event available to players level 8 and up and ran for two weeks. The event started in June and continued through July 2020.
In the event, Charlotte, the librarian, returns to the coffee shop for help in hosting a ball at her castle. Helping her by completing her orders will net the player different rewards, such as gifts, spices, and special event-related decoration items.
Event Items[]
The My Cafe Coat of Arms is an item attainable through the Event story that will be given to players once they have completed 22 Event Orders as well as the last part of the Event's story.
The Medieval Costume became available during the Event and costs 
{{{1}}} 575. As is the case with all costumes thus far, players will receive both the female and male version of the costume after purchasing it. Though purchasing the costume is optional and not required to complete the Event's story, Bill will give the player 1 Gold Gift as a reward for buying it.
The Tournament Sofa is available to purchase during the Event from the Special Offers.
Story[]
Charlotte, the librarian, has discovered that owning and running a castle is an expensive venture. To help her earn some extra cash for the ball, she decides to become a courier and deliver orders.
Not Just a Ball[]
After filling one order, Charlotte explains that she has been accepted into a castle society. Unfortunately, she was so nervous the night before the meeting that she couldn't sleep. While at the society meeting, she offered to host a ball but didn't realize what exactly it would entail. Not only is she expected to host a grand ball at her castle, but she will be expected to compete in a jousting tournament as well! The rules clearly state that only the master of the castle can compete, which has Charlotte feeling nervous about the upcoming tournament, so she asks you to invite some of your customers to support her.
The Invitations[]
Everyone has accepted the invitation to the ball. Margaret offers some interesting insight into Lord Cunningham, one of the other members of the castle society who also happens to be having some financial troubles. Mary envies Charlotte and romanticizes her as a modern-day Joan of Arc. Bill is excited for the costumes, which remind him of the comic conventions he's so fond of. Koffsky and Fernando also agree to show up and support her, the latter mentioning that the amount of prize money for winning the tournament would have Charlotte set for a very long time. Watson and Petrovich are also attending, although they seem much more interested in the horse the butler procured for the jousting tournament than anything else. The only one who agreed to go but not entirely in support is Cleo, who is going in protest for animal rights and vehemently believes that horses, and all animals, should be free and not forced to do anything they don't want to do.
Regardless of everyone's reasons for attending, Charlotte is happy that people are coming to support her, and it's even given her some courage, which she'll desperately need to win the tournament.

Like all special events, players will have 14 days to complete 30 Car Orders if they wish to complete the event and obtain all its rewards.
Notice: The Recipes required for Car Orders, and the number of Coins you'll be rewarded with, depend on your level. However, the Spice costs and Spice rewards are the same for everyone.

Additional Orders[]
There are 30 Car Orders in total needed to complete the event's main story and get its rewards. Afterward, additional Car Orders can be completed which work very much the same way as the above listed Car Orders. However, these orders are optional and are not required for the event's story, nor will they reward players with rewards found in the main event, such as gifts or special decoration items. These optional extra Car Orders are not listed here.
