Festival

The Festival is a weekly event where townships can compete against each other for prizes. During the festival, all residents can complete tasks to earn trophy points. The number of trophy points earned by all residents determines the rewards the township receives at the end of the festival.

Festivals occur weekly. If players join a township after the current festival has started, they will not be able to participate until the next scheduled festival.

Leagues[]

There are seven different leagues in the festival. All new townships start in Tea league. At the end of each festival, townships can go up to the next league, move down to the previous league, or stay in their current league depending on their placement and the league they are in.

Townships compete against one another in each league in random groups of six. Townships do not need to have the same number of active residents to be matched. However, township points earned in the previous festival and ranking are taken into account when choosing opponents.

Distributing rewards[]

All rewards are automatically transferred to the Treasure Trove after the festival, but it is up to the township leader and/or leader's assistants to distribute the rewards to each resident. Rewards in locked township shelves cannot be distributed until the shelves are unlocked.

Popular distribution methods[]

There are three popular methods for distributing festival rewards:

By trophies: Rewards are distributed based on a player's trophy participation.
By tasks: Rewards are distributed based on a player's task participation.
50/50: Rewards are distributed equally based on a player's trophy and task participation.

While these methods are the most popular, some leaders choose to create their own to suit their individual township's needs and playstyle. Additionally, there is an official calculator for the game linked at the bottom of this page using the aforementioned methods, explained further in the sections below.

Trophy method[]

To calculate a player's trophy participation, you will need the total number of trophies the township earned as a whole, the number of trophies the player earned, and the total reward to distribute.
